Tips to Efficiently Clean your Floors
Your floors are the first thing you step on when you or a guest enters your home. Also, your floors reflect the cleanliness of your entire house. So, keep your floors clean, and you will automatically feel like keeping the rest of your home clean as well.
Unigel is designed for removing tough dirt, brightening dulled areas, and restoring your floors without leaving behind streak or foggy residue.
The best way to clean and maintain the floor is by understanding what it needs and sticking to a routine. Undoubtedly, different types of flooring can’t be treated the same.
For example, carpets need a lot of maintenance because they gather a lot of stuff. Wood floors require a different treatment from laminate, vinyl, and stone floors.
-
Sweep or Vacuum First
Prevent your floor from becoming a sticky, muddy mess by sweeping or vacuuming the floor thoroughly before ever touching the mop to the floor.
-
Use a bucket
Add Unigel floor cleaner to the wash bucket. Avoid the temptation to double up on the Unigel detergent in an effort to boost cleaning power (or speed). This is not a good idea, as extra-concentrated wash water will not clean any better, and it will just be harder to rinse.
-
Stubborn Stains
When you encounter tough or sticky spots, rub back and forth rapidly over the spot, applying downward pressure to remove the grime. For hard-to-reach corners and edges, you may need to squat down and scrub the floor with a sponge or paper towels.
-
Rinse
After scrubbing each small area of the floor, rinse your mop thoroughly in the rinse bucket. Put the mop-up and down a few times, then wring out to remove as much dirty water from the mop head as possible.
It’s important to know how to clean and maintain different types of floors properly. Whether you have laminate, stone, or cork floors, they’ll last longer if you know how to take care of them and use Unigel floor cleaner. Not only will your floors look beautiful, but you’ll also save a lot of money by increasing their longevity.
